The City of Vaughan’s 2021 Road and Watermain Rehabilitation Program involved the replacement of approximately 1,650m of metallic watermains and the rehabilitation of 3,750m of roadway across four (4) project locations. This comprehensive project included the design, project management, contract administration and site inspection services. The watermain replacement encompassed the replacement of all substandard service connections from the watermain to the property line, including curb stops and water boxes, as well as the replacement of existing valves and valve chambers, fire hydrants and connections to existing watermains and/or chambers within the project limits. The road rehabilitation works included full road reconstruction as well as repairs to driveways, sidewalks and curbs.
